In the summer of 2018, I managed to combine my interests in science, design, and media by working as a Production Intern at Seeker Media. Originally focused on creating Youtube thumbnails for various web-shows, I was also able to dabble in different areas of the production pipeline such as B-rolling, audience development, and on-set production. Below you can see the final versions of many projects I was involved in.

The media landscape is quickly becoming a battlefield to see who can capture the viewer’s attention first and one of the most important tools is finding the right way to package content. With more users preferring mobile phones over computers, the thumbnail of the video was likely the make-or-break moment for the clickthrough rate. Here, you can see several examples of thumbnails I designed on a variety of topics.
